This two-hour course will enable managers to:

  • Develop a clear picture of the kind of manager their organization wants them to be

  • Understand and practice the behaviors that distinguish this kind of manager

  • Understand the reasons why this new kind of manager is important to their organization's survival

  • Clarify any changes that might be called for in their own management style

  • Examine ways some of these actions may be challenging

  • Learn about the flexible work options and how to manage them

 

This two-hour course will enable employees to:

  • Examine their own qualifications for working flexibly

  • Prepare their proposal

  • Become familiar with the flexible work options

  • Learn when each might be appropriate

  • Discover the challenges presented by each

  • Learn how to overcome them

The course has one module completely devoted to remote work. It's filled with tips on keeping careers on track, setting priorities and staying in touch with the office. And it includes a special program to help remote workers design their home office.
